Table: Key technical specification for the Ambient Monitor E1/S1
Note 1: Sensor is designed to measure in the range 0 to 20000 ppm with specified in the table accuracy.
Note 2: Sensor provides readings in the extended range but the accuracy is degraded compared to specified in the table one.
Note 3: Normal operating range: 0-80%RH, beyond this limit sensor may read a reversible offset with slow kinetics (+3%RH after 60h at humidity >80%RH).
Note 4: In safety relevant applications it is strongly recommended to check the sensor every month
For the communication to other devices (PLC) RS485 with MODBUS RTU is used. Modbus is a simple, open protocol for both PLC and sensors. Details on Modbus can be found on www.modbus.org.
